We offer a friendly and relaxed home away from home for your pet and put your pet’s welfare and security first. We have a strong work ethic, determined to do right and to be fair when it comes to providing a good service to you and your best friend. We understand the importance of keeping the customer at the focal point of all that we do.

 

We live in a three bedroomed semi-detached house near the Go Barking shop in Burgess Hill. We have an 80 foot secure garden, secured with 8 foot fencing. Indoors we operate a 'kiddy-gate' system to provide security.

All guests have run of the house and set up camp wherever they feel comfortable. If they want to curl up on the sofa or in Winter in front of the fireplace, if they feel settled and content then we can relax better.

 

We are licensed by the Mid Sussex District Council under The Animal Boarding Establishments ACT 1963. Licence number AW037 and AW038. The license enables us to board three dogs at any one time over the age of 1 year old or more dogs if they are from the same family. We agree with the licensing that it guides us to maintain a good and safe environment for your pets and guidance from the Environmental Health department safeguards our neighbours and the community that we live in.

 

We provide food, twice per day, OSCAR kibbles. For more information on OSCAR pet foods please see their website, www.oscars.co.uk

If you would prefer any additional food or if your dog has special dietary requirements then please provide this.

 

Always, outside of our home or the Go Barking premises, dogs are kept on an extending lead and never let loose, even at owners' request. Dogs are walked at least twice per day and to their own abilities.

 

In exceptional circumstances drop off and collection can be done at our home.

You are welcome to visit our home, please ask for a suitable appointment.

 

All dogs staying with us must have up to date vaccinations and a record of this must be provided prior to their stay. Unfortunately we do not board dogs under 1 year old. 

Any dogs staying 3 nights or more on registration for first stay we want and offer a one night free trial stay. This is in order to best understand your dogs needs, welfare and suitability to our what we offer and thereby meet your expectations.

one night bed and breakfast - £38.00

2-3 night stay - £35.00

4-6 night stay - £32.00

7 nights or more - £29.00

All prices are per dog per night

 

Guests are welcome to start their holiday at any time on the start date of their holiday with us after 9am.

Home time is at 10am - if you would like pooch to stay on for the day please refer to our daycare rates - usually we add a half-day rate of £15 per dog for dogs being collected after 10am.

 

If the above collection times are not suitable then an extra night will need to be booked and paid for.

Please note that all drop off and collection is done on the Go Barking premises except on Sundays or in exceptional

circumstances then this can be done from our home. Please maintain an open dialogue of communication if delays do occur.

 

Any vet visits will be communicated with you prior to a visit to your registered vet and any costs will be incurred by

you, please advise your vet of your dog staying with us.
